Battery and Charging

• Rechargeable lithium-ion battery lasts approximately 1-2 months with standard use before requiring charging GO’s battery needs to be recharged after an alert
• Voice messages and lights indicate low battery status and the need for charging, and a low battery report is sent
• When placed on the charger, GO and the outer edge of the charger turn blue to indicate charging has started. GO may beep or say ““charging””
• GO lights turn green when the battery is fully charged, and a ‘Battery Charged’ report is sent
• Charging time is approximately 2 to 3 hours from low to fully charged
• Battery life expectancy: around 80% capacity after 350-500 charges (when charged in a temperature of 25°C and fully discharged between cycles) for batteries less than 3-5 years old
• The wireless charging plate supplied with GO is Qi compliant

Settings

• Contact ID reporting via CSV over cellular data with 4 destination addresses using a combination of static IP addresses and DNS
• Automated self-testing and periodic test signal sent on the 3G network
• Regular RF test transmission when learned into the base unit
• Installer menu and settings accessible when placed on the charger, including volume adjustment, Fall Detection or manual Cloud Connection enabling, and Flight Mode for transport purposes

Cellular

• Equipped with a single Nano SIM for 4G data reporting on the chosen network (currently operates on Telstra Australia)
• 4G Cat1 VoLTE using 4G cellular bands B3 (1800MHz) and B28 (700MHz)

GPS

• GNSS antenna operates at 1559 - 1606MHz
• GPS locations are transmitted following user-initiated actions or leaving a geofenced location
• Accurate GPS locating based on regular updates of ephemeris and almanac data for the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)
• GPS coordinates are transmitted via cellular data to SmartCare Locate or other GPS mapping platform
